Research
I am interested in the acquisition of Spanish as a second language. In literature, the representation of indigenous people, social imaginaries, and culture in Latin American narratives. As an anthropologist, I worked as a bioarchaeologist in Chile, researching different projects, and I have taught anthropology and archaeology courses in several public and private universities in Chile. I am a founding member of the Chilean Team of Forensic Anthropology and Human Rights (ECHAF), a non-profit NGO in Chile that works in Human Rights.
