Students from Baylor University are continuing to make their mark on the international stage, earning recognition in both legal advocacy and diplomatic competition this spring.
On May 19, 2026, Dr. Leslie J. Harkema, Associate Professor of Spanish at Baylor University, will deliver the keynote address at the Fourth International IberTranslatio Symposium, Women Translators and Cultural Mediators from and into Iberian Languages, hosted by the University of Pompeu Fabra (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) in Barcelona, Spain.
Baylor faculty members Kelly C. Johnston, Ed.D., and Alexander J. McNair, Ph.D., have been selected to receive the 2026 Centennial Professor Awards for research projects.
