Scholarships

The Spanish program awards several scholarships each year, including:

The E.H. Sparkman Memorial Scholarship

The Andrés Sendón Scholarship

The Florence A. Davis Memorial Scholarship in Spanish

In awarding scholarships, preference is given to juniors about to enter senior year, and to Spanish Majors or Secondary Majors. Applicants submit a single form to apply for all available scholarships. 

The application cycle opens each year at the beginning of the Spring semester and closes in early March. The spring 2024 application cycle starts on January 20th and ends on March 15th, 2024 at 5:00  p.m. For an application, email Mariah Forde (Mariah_Forde@baylor.edu), or visit the Spanish & Portuguese Division Office (Old Main, room 177).
