Study Abroad
Baylor University encourages all students to participate in one or more study abroad programs during their time at Baylor. Foreign study often offers the student a chance to gain a more complete view of the world through travel and contact with individuals from cultures different from one's own. Baylor University offers a wide range of opportunities to study abroad.
For Middle East Studies, students will find an exceptional opportunity to study abroad at the American University in Cairo. This fully-accredited university, established in 1919, attracts students from all over the world. Its various curricula offer courses in the Arts and Sciences, as well as in business. Naturally, its coursework in Middle East studies is particularly strong. Additionally, because of its outstanding language program, the U.S. State Department selected the university for its CASA initiative, the Center for Arabic Study Abroad.
