Academic Interests.
My primary interests are Latin American literature and historical memory, with a particular focus on how pain, trauma, and historical processes inform literary production. I am deeply interested in the lives and struggles of people from South America, as reflected in literature, and how historical memory shapes cultural identity. I am also passionate about Spanish pedagogy, with emphasis on Dominican and Colombian varieties of Spanish, as well as Colombian culture as a whole.
