Funded Course Development Projects for 2024

The following are the recipients of the sub-award from the Title VI grant for 2023-2024, selected based on the recommendations of the grant’s selection and review committee:

Moises Park, course development of "Asia-Latin America: History, Representation, Culture,” $5000 awarded for developing the course, and a $2000 travel grant for attending the Asian Studies conference held at the University of Notre Dame in Fall 2024.

Dan Barish and David Jortner, course development of "East Asia on Stage and Screen,” $7500 awarded for developing this team-taught interdisciplinary course. 

Sarah Lee, course development of "Popular Culture and Politics in East Asia,”  $3500 awarded for developing this new interdisciplinary course.
