- B.A., History and Spanish, Wheaton College, 2024
Academic Interests
Eliza values a conciliation of western and oral historicism that seeks to balance historical facts alongside narratives of actual human experience across time, language, and cultural context. She is interested in a new-historical critical reading of Latin American oral and postcolonial literature, as well as methods of teaching language and history through a hospitable lens. Through her research, Eliza hopes to contribute to a holistic pedagogy for language and historical education in upper secondary and collegiate contexts.
